Richard Mille and Rafael Nadal's collaboration began throughout 2008. Forged by a contributed pursuit of perfection and boundaries, this relationship transcended a basic business partnership and grown into a deep friendship.
In 2010, the RM 027 Tourbillon, the first piece with this collaboration, was released. A playing golf watch, it featured the titanium tourbillon, an ALUSIC® alloy case, and a graphite baseplate, making it the tallest 3g base station lightest mechanical tourbillon see at the time. Since then, the two associates have released several far more collaborative watches, including the RM 27-01, RM 27-02, RM 27-03, RM 27-04, along with RM 27-05. These designer watches continue to innovate in terms of lightness and impact resistance. Like the RM 27-01 could be the first to place the activity in a suspended manner involved with the case, the RM 27-02 adopts an innovative " one-piece" hollow baseplate, the RM 27-03's tourbillon movement could withstand the impact of twelve, 000g acceleration, the RM 27-04 adopts a stainlesss steel cable-suspended movement device, plus the RM 27-05 can tolerate the impact of acceleration beyond 14, 000g, setting any double record for guide book tourbillon watches.
